Red Chinchompas are stackable Ranged weapons requiring level 55 ranged to use. Red chinchompas, though expensive, are optimal for ranged training as they are weapons that will multi-target enemies if used in a multi-combat zone.
How to obtain[]
Red chinchompas are obtained via capturing, using the Hunter skill. A player may lay a box trap in an area surrounded by Carnivorous chinchompas to capture a Red chinchompa.

Locations of roaming Carnivorous chinchompas include:
- Lumbridge Swamp
- Western Ape Atoll
- South-west of Castle Wars.
Trivia[]
Red chinchompas are not to be confused with Carnivorous chinchompas; whilst Red chinchompas are the caught versions of the monster that may be used as weapons, Carnivorous chinchompas are the monsters that may be hunted and captured and, subsequently, turned into Red chinchompas.
